Education and Grassroots Activism: PPAKM educates and engages our grassroots network of over 100,000 supporters as well as voters across Kansas and Missouri on issues relating to women's health and reproductive justice including:

Public education through phone banks, mailings, door-to-door canvasses, house parties, and media.
Engaging volunteers in communities and campuses across the affiliates to protect women's health.
Providing reliable research, resources and tools so you can stay informed, speak out, and make a difference.

Legislative Advocacy: PPAKM employs lobbyists in Topeka and Jefferson City who are working to defeat restrictive anti-choice and anti-birth control legislation and helping to advance public policies that support reproductive justice and healthy women and families including:

Family planning services, such as birth control and sexually transmitted infection testing and treatment, for low-income women.
Compassionate care for rape victims, including access to emergency contraception to prevent pregnancy after an assault.
Access to birth control, women’s health care and comprehensive, medically-accurate sex education.
